For more than twenty years, Sunway University College has been one of Malaysia’s premier providers of education at the pre-university, professional, and degree levels.  Now, Sunway University College is drawing on its experience to expand opportunities in education by opening Sunway International School (SIS).

Since the early years of Sunway University College, one of the more popular pre-university courses has been the Canadian International Matriculation Programme (CIMP).   Based on the curriculum of Ontario, Canada, and recognized by universities world-wide, CIMP has had over 4000 graduates.

In January 2008, Sunway International School will begin to build on the tradition of CIMP by offering Grade 10 and 11.  Over the next few years, our goal is to expand our programme to include Grade 7, 8, and 9.

Our school is a state-of-the art facility staffed by a group of dedicated, Canadian-trained teachers.  All students will be working in a wireless lap-top environment, and our programme has been designed to incorporate the latest in education technology. Classes will be small, and the focus will be on meeting the needs of individual students.  SIS will provide students with a strong foundation as they prepare for their choice of pre-university programmes.

For out-station and international students, we have a newly renovated hostel with twin-sharing rooms.    All rooms are air conditioned, and have wireless internet.  Residents are under the care of our live-in hostel wardens.  The hostel is only steps away from Sunway International School.
